Sometimes when I tell stories, I ramble. I just love useless details and backstories. Besides, I believe that my audience is better positioned to understand my point of view when they have all the details; then they can more easily agree with my opinion (especially useful when complaining about a boy). However, I do concede that not every detail is that crucial. So, with a deft "blah blah blah" I skim over parts and keep the story moving.
I recently came back from Australia where I met one of the most amazing women I know - a Miss Simone Morgan. Amongst her many lovable strengths and qualities, she had two curiously endearing habits: 1) making odd sounds while lost in thought, and 2) instead of saying "blah blah blah," she would say "rah rah rah." I had never heard of such a thing (either of them), and I don't know if that's an Australian thing or not, but I love it (both of them). And so, The RahRahRah represents all the things I would like to say on a topic...and so on and all that. Now if only you could hear me think.
It's easy: You send me a topic. I write about it. It can be anything at all. I can't promise you it will be good - I started this blog to get myself back into the discipline of writing, after all. As someone once said, "You don't have to be great to get started, but you have to get started to be great." But I promise you I will write about your topic. And maybe you might find what I have to say interesting or even entertaining. Or maybe you might learn something, even if it is just about little old me. At any rate, you'll be doing me a huge favor, and I'll forever be indebted to your generosity.
RahRahRah.
